Godly Love

 

Romans 5:5
Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in my heart by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

 

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
I suffer long and am kind; I do not envy; I do not parade myself…I am not puffed up. I do not behave rudely; I do not seek my own; I am not provoked and I think no evil. I do not rejoice in iniquity but rejoice in the truth. I bear all things, I believe all things, I hope all things, I endure all things.

 

1 John 2:5
I keep God’s Word and truly His love is perfected in me. By this I know that I am in Him.

1 John 4:16
I know and believe the love that God has for me. God is love, and I abide in love and in God, and God in me.

1 John 5:3-4
I have the love of God because I keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For I am born of God and I overcome the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world—my faith.
